To Everyone
At this time, I want to make very clear that the Windy City Pride League is Safe Space for LGBTQ+, their allies, POC, and anyone else who understand that Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (otherwise know as DEI), compassion, empathy and generally being a good person is not a bad thing.
Recent (and not so recent) events have required that we make it very clear that HATE, in all its forms, will not be tolerated. It is up to all persons of good conscience to stand up when confronted with this kind of bigotry and hate. To those who would punish us for who we would love, who we would pray (or not pray) to, for who we ARE, we say NO MORE.
